AB - The Digital Forensics is a technology to capture and analyze the digital evidences that have to be submitted to the court, and many organizations and enterprises in the IT field are especially interested in the technology. The integrity and reliability of the digital evidences are dependent on the analysts' specialty because the process to capture and analyze the digital evidences is technically complicate and difficult. To improve the quality of the process, the research on the advanced technology of the digital forensics and participation of many IT experts are required.
In this paper, we explain the overview of the digital forensics, the introduction of digital forensics tools and the procedure of the digital forensics, and suggest the development plan of digital forensics industry, the education plan of digital forensics experts, and the prospect of the digital forensics field. Nowadays, the research on the digital forensics technology is actively performed in the world and it is considered as the core technology in the IT field to realize the ubiquitous computing environment. Furthermore, as new forensics technology is researched and developed more systematically and actively, the new business area can be created. In addition, the digital forensics using the high technology can greatly contribute to the protection of the human rights of the machinery of law and the materialization of the judicature justice.
