AB - This paper aims to analyze which arguments are used and which logical and rhetorical methods are employed in criticizing each other by proponents and opponents in animal experimentation debates. I look into the premises and argumentative strategies presented to support animal experimentation. Several argumentations and fallacies are pointed out in those processes. Finally I conclude that the arguments backing up animal experimentation are unsound which have false premises, and it is difficult to deduce the conclusion from those premises even though they are true.
