AB - It is the purpose of this article to research into the improvement of legal system on the registered cultural properties in Korea. From this point of view, this article researched into the values of modern cultural heritages as the registered cultural properties in terms of the history, characteristics, management and ownership. And this article also presented a scheme for conservation and promotion of modern cultural heritages as the registered cultural properties.Accordingly, the conclusion is as follows; (a) investigate into the modern cultural heritages, (b) enact the advance protect measures of modern cultural heritages, (c)enlarge the registrant of modern cultural heritages as the registered cultural properties, (d) introduce the legal system on the protective district of modern cultural heritages,(e) introduce the legal system on the order of rapid repair for the modern cultural heritages, (f) formulate the repair rule for the modern cultural heritages, (g) strengthen the role of local government.
