AB - It is under an obligation for the license-appraiser applicants to complete of valuation practice education programs which is focused on their competency improvement. However, there has been critical problems to be improved for achieving its policy objectives. This study suggests that the specific provisions and guidances regarding operation of valuation practice education system should be introduced in the related laws. These amendments include minimum qualifying education of license appraiser trainees, the classification and major components of program, minimum qualification of the lectures, and the implementation rules etc. Finally, the suggested amendments of the laws regarding valuation practice education system for the appraiser applicants can develop the appraiser's competency and improve the quality of valuation service in Korea.
