ABSTRACT

Seattle as a coastal city, located in the US Northwest region, has developed with long history. Being popular with the image of Coffee and sightseeing, Seattle has a variety of characteristics in social, demographic, cultural, and economic perspectives. At the same time, Seattle’s urban space has diverse neighborhoods and multinucleated urban structures with economic clusters. Further, Seattle has dynamics and diversities summarized as follows: vibrant and creative urban landscape, home of coffee, environment-friendly urban landscape, and progressive and liberal ambience.
