The Geographical Study of Strassendorf in Taean Peninsula: In Case of Strassendorf in Taean-gun Region

ABSTRACT

In this study, the location and form characteristics of strassendorf, the location and landscape characteristics of strassendorf functional establishments and the composition characteristics classified by strassendorf and business of strassendorf location functional establishments in case of six strassendorfs in Taean-gun region were analyzed. The results of this study are as follows: Firstly, the strassendorf locates in balanced joints between inner bay and hill land. Secondly, the strassendorf form of Taean-gun region is labeled as plural strassendorf and singular strassendorf, and the plural strassendorf is labeled as old strassendorf and new strassendorf. Thirdly, the location and landscape characteristics of strassendorf functional establishments was analyzed in three parts of inner strassendorf, middle strassendorf and outer strassendorf. Based upon this analysis, commercial functional establishments, public functional establishments and residential functional establishments locate in inner strassendorf, school, church, heavy equipments repair-rental shop, storage-type shopping center and so on locate in middle strassendorf, and dispersed settlement, apartment house, school, leisure facilities, garden-type restaurant, pension, church and so on locate in disorder in outer strassendorf. Fourthly, the composition characteristics classified by strassendorf and business of strassendorf location functional establishments is analyzed by the research of inner strassendorf location functional establishments, and based upon this research results composition number, composition ratio, composition rank, location quotient, least population threshold size and so on of strassendorf location functional establishments are produced. Eespecially, considering on composition number and composition ratio of strassendorf location functional establishments, restaurant among 404 units of strassendorf location functional establishments appears to be the most in 77(19.0%). And considering on composition rank of strassendorf location functional establishments, restaurant appears to be the first without exception in 6 all strassendorfs. In the composition classified by strassendorf and business of strassendorf location functional establishments, the 10 businesses appearing in 6 all strassendorfs are school, public facilities, financial facilities, medical institution, restaurant, supermarket, rice-grinding mill, welfare facilities, religion facilities and machinery repair shop.
