こうした伝承がいつ頃生まれたのか、その点ははっきりしない。ただし、油日神社の緣起に關しては室町末期までは遡ることができ、少なくとも、この頃までには、何らかの形で、寺社の由來を太子に關係させた伝承が生まれていたと考えられる。また、そうした伝承の多くが守屋合戰と關係を持っているのは、近江國が持つ、戰略的․地勢的特質のためであったと考えられる。 KW - DO - UR - ER -
