ABSTRACT

This study aims to explore how residents escaping from North Korea should adapt to Korean society. The solution tried to obtain through child education Korean-residents in Japan who had similar experience. The results Korean-residents in Japan society has experienced, ①which typology school (formally, informal)? ②whether or not to experience the wall of the mainstream society of the children ③Expansion of facilities such as "Fureaikan" and the necessity of activating the national exchange meeting, festivals etc. were mentioned. Therefore, the conclusion of this study is summarized in three. It is necessary not only for residents escaping from North Korea but also for regional centers for multicultural and multiethnic symbiosis. Regional facility becomes the center, there is a need for regular festivals held in the multi-cultural and multi-ethnic festival or residents escaping from North Korea only. Furthermore, guidance and support at the school level are necessary for youth residents escaping from North Korea to adapt to school life safely.
