ABSTRACT

In this study a new teaching method of Japanese literature education, flipped learning, is examined, as one of the great flow of education field. To create an ideal flipped learning classroom, it is necessary to induce proper interaction between prior learning outside the classroom and within the classroom, it begins by providing appropriate prior learning. The study aimed to introduce various existing forms of prior learning so that they can be selected according to the needs or circumstances of learners. Prior learning makes it easy to think of a video taken by a professor, but it does not have to be a video, it provides a learning goal linked to this class, andensures that it is thoroughly prior learning. In addition to the development-type prior learning materials written individually by professors, there are shared prior learning materials, such as OER, KMOOC, and KOCW, however, there is a definite lack of prior learning materials related to Japanese literature. Furthermore, as a material of practical prior learning, the class plan was presented as an example of flipped learning, athough it was insufficient.
