AB - 曹雪芹『石頭記』自十八世紀中葉問世, 1791年程偉元請高鶚寫後半40回的小說而刊行120回本的『紅樓夢』, 有二十四幅的揷圖, 從此以後, 許多畵家創作了大量美術作品。在衆多‘紅樓畵’裏面, 淸代孫溫ㆍ孫允謨合繪的一套大型彩繪畵冊『紅樓夢』是其中佼佼者。在故事情節的營造上, 畵冊充分吸收了中國傳統繪畵處理時空表現的特點, 進一步完成了新的表現領域, 開拓了故事畵的斬新的面貌。畵家畵了兩百三十幅的畵面, 其中也有多數情節回目圖, 但不少有擧行典禮、遊園玩賞等文化活動的畵面。這些‘非敍事場面’, 在一般小說揷圖裏面出現得很少。畵家通過這種‘非敍事場面’來充分發揮了小說『紅樓夢』的主題和焦點。其次, 畵冊普遍使用時間和空間的縮小處理方法。中國傳統繪畵在構圖時往往不受任何時空限制, 有關情節、人物、事件布置在一幅畵面上。本文分爲兩個情況, 卽空間的分隔和同一人物的反復出現來分析了各個表現及其效果的特點。然後, 討論了兩個情況的結合來構成的複合時空畵面的特點。畵家運用的這種構圖方法, 易於表現情節連續的畵面。其結果, 觀覽者跟着人物穿梭空間、完成敍事, 享受更多的小說藝術感染力。
