ABSTRACT

Urban regeneration projects are very important to utilize local assets as an alternative to existing urban planning projects. Especially, it is necessary to establish strategic planning and urban regeneration plans by utilizing resources that are likely to be developed among local cultural, economic, social and environmental assets. do. Urban regeneration projects can affect common issues of various related subjects throughout the society. It can improve the physical environment such as improvement of existing public facilities and improvement of residential environment, as well as securing regional economic development and urban identity, improving social integration environment, , Expanding the space of historical and cultural facilities, and preserving the traditional culture of the region. The purpose of this study is to establish a plan for establishing and operating a sustainable urban regeneration through analyzing the possibility of urban regeneration and analyzing the situation and analyzing the social, economic and environmental characteristics of typical rural and urban cities.
