ABSTRACT

This study employs semiotics and digital sociology as theoretical frameworks to systematically analyze the discourse construction mechanisms and power dynamics within China’s fandom culture. By examining lexical innovations such as “yyds” and “hu,” the synergistic interplay of war/family metaphors, and grammatical norms like “take him away, no engagement,” it reveals the dual fate of subcultural symbols under algorithmic recommendation and platform capitalism: they function both as resistance tools for constructing group identity and as commodified data fuel for traffic economies. The research innovatively proposes a three-dimensional “technology-symbol-capital” model, integrating Fei Xiaotong’s “differential order” theory to demonstrate how 67% of encrypted terminology in Weibo super-topic communities reinforces algorithmic-driven digital segregation. It further uncovers the “emotiondata double helix” exploitation mechanism, evidenced by a 45% increase in advertisement conversion rates for “chart-topping” topics. Through blockchain traceability and DAO governance experiments, the study provides empirical support for the Data Intellectual Property Registration Measures and highlights the potential dissolution of cultural resistance by generative AI. These findings not only expand subcultural theory through non-Western perspectives but also contribute Chinese solutions to algorithmic ethics optimization and digital cultural governance.
