AB - This paper aims to analyze the limitations of AI agents and the emergent “AI Agent Society” popularized in 2026 from a Christian ethical perspective, and proposes normative alternatives for achieving a “good AI society.” Adopting Reinhold Niebuhr’s Christian realist framework of power structures as its research methodology, this study reflects on the political and ethical challenges — such as functional hierarchy, concentration of power, and value biases — that manifest in early AI societies like Moltbook.
This paper argues that while constructing a morally perfect AI society remains practically unfeasible, intentionally designing “Moral Leader AI Agents” at the pinnacle of the hierarchical structure to guide discourse and continuously updating their value alignment serves as a crucial practical prerequisite for leading the impending AI society toward human flourishing and the common good.
