ABSTRACT

This thesis is what analyzed work, giving mind to the fact that evaluation about work and history varies in accordance with method to recognize history. This researcher examined centering around “Nearby Village of Railroad Track” by Kim, Nam-Joong and “Spring of Uncle” by Han, Jung-Ki which make 5ㆍ18 as subject matter. Two works were expressed with ‘memorizing’ and ‘sharing’ in reconsidering history. And, writer’s own voice could be discovered. Historical event can be diluted in accordance with the method to call history. Then, to remember this point, it is deemed that two works included aesthetics of literature about objectivity of history. This thesis is what studied centering around ‘History for whom’ over ‘What is history’ in the fairy tale of history. This researcher came to think that history is not the discontinuity between past society and present society but dialogue and that it varies endlessly in accordance with the interpretation of historian. When we memorize and share history, historical event may be meaningful. To ruminate history that we are forgetting slowly in accordance with the flow of time is not to try to repeat extremely difficult history. In memorizing and sharing not only as your own history but also as the history of all of us, history will be ‘histories’ of compound number which is not singular number.
