AB - This essay attempts to examine LEE, Kwang-Soo’ thought about literature and ideal transitional process revolved around 1910～1920’s editorials, a literary theories, and novels. At the same time, this essay attempts to examine the relation of the fruits of creation products and thought changes. There is a broad nationalism in Lee’s thought, and it appears patriotic enlightenment movement or evolutionary theory. In patriotic enlightenment movement Lee’s primary target is humane emotion liberation, and has a repulsion to a Confucianism. And the theory of evolution Lee’s attitude toward literature has a tendency to be literature autonomy and social function. After 2nd during he’s stay in the Japan as a student, his field of vision is nation itself and a literary theory was founded.
