AB - This paper tried to investigate the achievement of <石耳行> which is written by Lee Byoung Yeon(李秉淵). The peoms about rock tripe have two appearances. One is the poem that focused on a rock tripe's pure image, the other is the poem that focused on the people who gathered rock tripes. This paper taked note of the latter. As a result, Lee, Byoung Yeon's <石耳行> shows the three achievements.
First, Lee Byoung Yeon's <石耳行> stands out in a realistic and vivid description, because the poem based on writer's real experience. Second, Lee Byoung Yeon's <石耳行> has an achievement in terms of an effective concept composition. and Lee Byoung Yeon's <石耳行> made full use of the narrative technique. So, Lee Byoung Yeon's <石耳行> maximizes a realistic and sympathetic enough. The last, in terms of thesis, Lee Byoung Yeon's <石耳行> shows a clear thought. Beum jo woo(范祖禹) and Lee heon gyoung(李獻慶) dispersed their criticism into noble class and the people who who gathered rock tripes. So their thought is not clear. But, because Lee Byoung Yeon concentrated on criticism of noble class, his work has a clarity. To sum it up, Lee Byoung Yeon's <石耳行> is considerd the masterpiece in the history of poems that commiserated the people.
