ABSTRACT

Kyungnam University has been steadily reorganizing its college writing textbooks since 2003 by applying a paradigm shift in writing education. In 2020, we are preparing a textbook called 'My Writing' as an experience-based competency education. This paper aims to suggest a class model that allows learners to actively participate in the course-based collaborative writing class in line with the 'My Writing' textbook. we first look at the significance and necessity of course-based writing collaboration learning. Collaborative learning is an educational method that minimizes the involvement of professors, which places importance on the process of learners solving problems themselves through dialogue and negotiation with colleagues. Knowledge of the performance of writing is achieved through learner-centered practice and repetitive writing experience by acquiring procedural courses. During the semester, learners will complete three to four chapters of writing, which is the basis for five paragraphs of writing. I conducted thought training(free association), five paragraphs of writing, and collaborative learning to improve the specific skills of self-reflection, writing, and collaboration skills. In this paper, as a method of course-based writing collaborative learning, we will present in detail the methods of “co-review” and “co-author writing”. First, there is a 'personal review' in “co-review” to make the basic framework of writing aware of how to write a schematic diagram as a basic writing exercise. And there is a 'group review' to familiarize yourself with the overall evaluation methods of writing, such as empathy, constructiveness, narrative skills, performance and integrity. Second, “co-author writing” is an activity in which several learners complete a piece of writing based on a peer consultation process. Through co-author writing, both learners who are proficient in writing and learners who are not, promote active participation in classes and review the procedural process of writing.
