ABSTRACT

As children build up their personality and morality mostly from their childhood experience, we need to teach them to respect their parents all the way from elementary curriculum. This paper is written to provide continuous Hyosarang activity for children which is linked with school, family and local community, and to seek ways of educating filial devotion program by successful experience and achievement. Therefore, this paper shows analyzed result from census which surveyed means of education about filial devotion, and compared result with preceding research for setting practical tasks. First task is to conduct Hyosarang meditation, reading and propriety session as running Hyosarang activity in school. Second task is to induce filial devotion programs like Hyosarang task and Hyosarang experiencing day as running Hyosarang activity at home. And last task is to promote activities like visiting Hyosarang historical scene,Hyosarang class and Hyosarang festival, extending filial devotion education at school and home as running Hyosarand activity in local community. This paper present three ways for educating filial devotion; education in school, at home and with local community. By conducting Hyosarang activity in school,One, Hyosarang meditating session increased concern about filial devotion and strengthened motive for practicing filial devotion. Two, Hyosarang propriety session taught meed of Hosarang and basic manners about filial devotion. Three, Hyosarang lecture enabled to understand filial devotion, resulted as children conducting filial devotion habitually. By conducting Hyosarang activity at home,One, Hyosarang task made childrean to practice basic contents about filial devotion in real life. Two, Hyosarang experiencing day provided chances of performing filial devotion at home and local community. By conducting Hyosarang activity with local community. One, visiting Hyosarang historical scene offered methods of practicing filial devotion, acted as a ideal model of filial devotion. Two, Hyosarang class lectured about basic filial devotion, trained right behavior of facing filial devotion mentally and physically.
