AB - This study was to investigate the actual conditions of the filial piety consciousness and the practical filial conduct of 303 elementary school students. Based on those concrete Data, the goal of this study is to show the educational method for setting up the sound ethical values of the student, to prepare the practical pian in home, school, and social for building a desirable personality and morality.
The finding of the study were ass follows : The conventional consciousness for filial piety of elementary school students was to expressed the result numerically 4.12 out of 5.00 points and the average in 11 items is higher than the investigation of high school students, but student 17% have consciousness that uneducated for filial piety.
The data of practical filial piety in school and home and society show us that the area of society is the lowest (3.48), and home (3.59), school (3.92) in order. The education for filial piety at home is to show the result of average 3.32, and the education for filial piety in a class at school is to show that the result average 3.12.
Based on these objective and concrete results, I wish to present the desirable educational method and to make the pratical pians for filial piety.
There was a significantly positive correlation between consciousness of fility piety and practical filial conduct. Stimulating filial devotion should be created to let students build up their good moral personality by learning to be dutiful to their parents, and every school, family and society should make concerted efforts to spread filial devotion.
