The content of Filial Piety (HYO) education program consists of subjects focused on harmonic Filial Piety (HYO), namely 7 Filial Pieties (HYOs) and moderation, etiquette and consideration are added so that they can help students to build up an upright character. It can be said that the harmonic Filial Piety (HYO) is a practical value element which connects and establishes relationship between myself and others. Filial Piety (HYO) education program was applied to the first and the second grade of boy’s and girls’s students and questionnaire survey by each area was employed as the method for study and research. As a result, as for moderation, etiquette and consideration, significance could be found in the experimental group (group receiving Filial Piety (HYO) education), compared with the control group (not receiving Filial Piety (HYO) education). As for filial piety, significance such as to remember parent’s birthdays, not to get along with friends without filial affection, to find amicable settlement of conflicts with parents, etc could be found in the experimental group, compared with the control group. Those results can lead to conclusions that if Filial Piety (HYO) education classes are organized as compulsory education at least 10 times in a semester, it will be a guideline for building up an upright character as well as promoting filial sense.
