“Gyenyeoseo” tell us to try to behave in accordance with the rules of etiquette for men and women who grew up in the preface with quoting Mencius`s word. At the epilogue, the propound love of father to his daughter is described to deliver a massage of watching every inch of the matter after marriage. Besides the preface and epilogue, the body contains massages to the eldest daughter married to one of the Kwon`s family, and consists of 20 chapters about the duty which should be obeyed by married women. In the educational aspect about the filial piety, the content of the Five Relationships in Confucianism will be compared with the oriental classics. "Gyenyeoseo" contains the instructive contents as a guide for women`s lives from a father’s point of view with wishing their daughter's happy marriage, and it can be also considered as a women`s lesson emphasizing their practice and caution. The teachings of Confucian is a representative example of familiar ethic idea on the basis of the filial piety, and the policy of the Joseon Dynasty which revered the Confucian ethics as a national religion inculcated a traditional ethics of the filial piety of which values can be implied by the Three Bonds and Five Relationships in Confucianism in the mind deeply. Uam, Song Si-yeol is at the center of the ethical policies. "Gyenyeoseo" serves as an instruction on the filial behavior for women and also involves Uam`s wishes that his daughter behaves like he acted founded on the rules of etiquette inspired from the filial piety. "Gyenyeoseo" written in Hangul which is easy to learn by women is the result of Uam`s practice of the filial piety and it should be encouragingly accepted in terms of extension of opportunities for learning and studying. In addition, it can be said that "Gyenyeoseo" is an educational book on both the filial piety and the proprieties through the literature or materials in real-life and can be regarded as a stepping stone for developing the women`s education in various directions.
