ABSTRACT

Background: What is important in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Artificial Intelligence (AI) is to have the good character and personality necessary to live with others. Therefore, it is set in the background of cultivating good personality through filial piety education from infancy. Purpose: It presents data so that the ‘hyo’ education, which constructs the basis of human behavior, can be applied to the social relations area of the play-oriented Nuri curriculcum in the infant's education. Methodology/Approach: Based on the play-oriented Nuri curriculum, which was revised in 2019, the focus was placed on the implementation idea of filial piety in infancy, an important basic period of personality education, so that guidance could be provided naturally in the early childhood curriculum. Findings/Conclusions: Data were presented to apply and guide the ‘hyo’ education onto the social relations area of the play-oriented Nuri curriculum currently implemented by early childhood education institutions. Implications: In the future, specific case-by-case studies are required to further develop the direction of the ‘hyo’ education suggested in this study to discover more detailed tasks in the play-oriented curriculum area and content category, and to develop flexible guidance plans in the field.
