AB - Background: As the immigrants are increasing globally, the world becomes a society of diversity. In the society of cultural diversity, there is a increasement in the importance of culture education for innate foreigner to understand the Korea society well. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the applicability of HYO culture education, a Korean traditional culture, to KIIP of Ministry of Justice in Korea. Methodology/Approach: With this reason, Firstly, review the literature of interculturalism, secondly, the literature for the contents of the textbook with culture, identify the KIIP of the Ministry of Justice. Thirdly, the literature for education of Korean HYO culture. And Finally, review the applicability of HYO culture education, a Korean traditional culture, to KIIP of Ministry of Justice in Korea. Findings/Conclusions: Culture education based on interculturalism can create the new culture with the active interaction through the dialogue between the majority group and minority one with equality. Implications: As the education of Korean society and culture is the useful theme that is able to apply actually by the command of Korean language, there is a meaning of the applicability on the Korean HYO culture to the KIIP.
