AB - Japanese occupation in this paper the Japan spread deep in the East Asian cultural sphere of Chinese characters to define. Through analysis of the causes and types of Japanese Chinese characters, the scope of Japanese Chinese characters was set and the characteristics of Japanese Chinese characters were considered.
In this book, the Japanese Chinese characters are Chinese characters that are independently made and used in Japan, using the sounds and meanings of Chinese characters. Looking at Japanese before the end of the Edo period, as Chinese vocabulary became proficient, it began to create independent Japanese Chinese characters using Chinese language to represent Japanese concepts or institutional objects that were not in China. Then, after the late Edo period, many Japanese Chinese characters were created, translating the concept of Western civilization into Chinese.
The types of Japanese Chinese characters classified in this paper are as follows: ① Chinese characters and Chinese vocabulary used only in Japan;② When made in Chinese characters similar to the pronunciation of a language;③ Even if there is an example in the existing Chinese language, the Japanese newly put modern concepts into use;④When a new vocabulary is created by combining Chinese characters;⑤ Western vocabulary translated from Japan;⑥ Chinese characters in pure Japanese;⑦ Formation by affixation;⑧ Vocabulary used only in Japan.
