AB - A fundamentally sound educational environment is possible if stakeholders endeavor to enhance the quality of education and secure its accessibility. Both local governments and the ministry of education should make efforts to enhance the quality of schools nationwide so that students do not have to travel far in search of better schools. In this regard, this study examines changes in the general population, the number of school-aged children and students, and the number of teachers between 2000 and 2009.
