A Study on the Transcript Evaluation for Improving Validity of Admission Evaluation

ABSTRACT

Measure of growth potential is more important rather than existing knowledge in human resource selection. It is not except college admission, and the admission officer system is good evidence because it increases the number of new students more and more. Students who are selected through the admission officer system are not on a small scale but social awareness is weak, owing to the distrust of potential evaluations and limitations of document evaluation. Actually, transcripts are evaluated differently depending on each college’s criterion. The perception concerning transcript details is the difference between highschool and college, which leads to limitations regarding evaluation validity. This study examines the perception concerning student activity as well as the subsection of transcripts, and then analyzes how to apply proper document detail to each evaluation. Such a method will lead to seek for more better admission officer system and college admission policy as finding perception gap between highschool teacher and college admission assessor about transcript details.
