AB - The purpose of this article is to find the new model to gradually change within North Korea by exposing it to the outside through South Korean-Chinese and North Korean-Chinese cooperation which North Korea, facing its toughest battle for survival, would feel less apprehensive than direct inter-Korean one by critically examining the development model of cross-straits relations with inter-Korean relations. Special attention will be paid to the North Korean-China border area as a roundabout way to induce change in North Korea, considering the roller coaster inter-Korean relations.
