AB - The National Assembly Standing Committee can exert a strong influence on the legislative process, judging, disposing, or proposing bills. But its role is not fixed in the legislative process. Committees can play a role to give information to the plenary session of the National Assembly, to influence on the legislative process for the majority party or to draw up bill which the Administration favors. The Health & Welfare Committee met the Administration’s demands in the legislative process of the Act on Long-Term Care Insurance for the Aged. Besides, it accepted so many delegation provisions which the Administration proposed. As a result, the Health & Welfare Committee has played a role for the Administration agent in the legislative process of the Act on Long-Term Care Insurance for the Aged, intending to do so or not.
