AB - This article discusses the possibility of human beings to look back at things gone missing as various realities are gathered together. It draws on the aspirations of the people who try to change society by applying and experimenting with the model of Athenian direct democracy and by raising interest in the well-being that can be left behind by the laws and institutions of reality. Focusing on the symbolic system of cinema as one of the important devices reaching human subjectivity, I will examine the source of social power that movies can bring to human society, which can use them to diagnose social problems and take measures against them. In this way I will try to illuminate future society. It is confusing if various demands remain intact and unfulfilled. It is an "ideological mulitplex" in which many requests and wants cannot be carried out in the negative situation of participation explosion, but can be carried out simultaneously in daily life. Finally I will show the possibility of ‘democratopia’ than can be reached through it.
