AB - This study conducts a comparative analysis of the technical characteristics and creative applications of AI-based image generation tools—Midjourney, DALL·E, and Adobe Firefly—focusing on user experiences. The research methodology involves evaluating key technical factors such as generation quality, diversity, processing speed, and user-friendliness, along with creative utilization metrics including applicability, creative flexibility, customization capabilities, copyright, and ethical considerations. Through surveys and in-depth interviews, the study examines usability and strategic applications of each tool. The findings reveal that generative AI tools positively impact creativity enhancement and work efficiency in the early stages of design, while strategic utilization based on user experience and tool characteristics serves as a crucial variable influencing practical outcomes. This study highlights the effectiveness of AI tools as creative assistants throughout the design process, providing valuable insights for establishing AI utilization strategies in both professional design practices and educational settings.
