ABSTRACT

This study proposes an elastic-body-based power retention system that stores and releases flywheel rotational energy to generate electricity. Simulations verified its feasibility for 10 kW power production, showing that higher RPM reduces flywheel radius and mass, improving efficiency and enabling a lighter design. The system supplies stable power regardless of weather, addressing renewable energy intermittency while minimizing energy loss and maintaining steady output. Applicable to small power plants, industrial machinery, and power-deficient regions, it supports carbon reduction and energy independence. Future work will focus on scaling, new materials, cost reduction, and durability, advancing it as a core technology for distributed, carbon-neutral energy systems.
