AB - This study focuses on developing design strategies to enhance the user experience (UX) of fitness watch applications. A survey was conducted with 113 smartwatch users, analyzing seven key UX elements: app structure, feedback, visual design, intuitive interaction, data visualization, personalization, and context awareness. The analysis of 35 closed-ended and two open-ended questions revealed that users highly appreciate a clean interface, fast feedback, and visual consistency. However, personalization depth, context awareness, battery efficiency, and usability on small screens were identified as areas needing improvement. Particularly, disruptive notifications during workouts and the lack of instant information access were noted as usability challenges. Based on these findings, the study proposes UX enhancement strategies such as improving readability of key information, designing context-based notifications, strengthening data-driven personalization, and optimizing intuitive interactions.
