AB - This study aims to analyze the impact of social exclusion on the quality of life of marriage migrant women and to verify the mediating effect of social capital. Through this, the study sought to comprehensively identify the structural relationships among variables. The research results are as follows: First, social exclusion had a significant negative effect on the quality of life. Second, social exclusion was found to reduce social capital. Third, social capital was confirmed to have a positive effect on the quality of life. Fourth, social capital showed a partial mediating effect in the relationship between social exclusion and the quality of life. In conclusion, this study demonstrates that social exclusion is a major factor hindering the quality of life and indicates that social capital performs a function to mitigate this. Therefore, strengthening social capital is crucial for improving the quality of life of marriage migrant women. This study has limitations due to its cross-sectional design and reliance on self-report data; future research requires a longitudinal approach and the expansion of various variables. Furthermore, from a policy perspective, it is necessary to develop practical measures to support the formation of social capital.
