On contribution to the field of Shang-Han(傷寒) theory, most oriental medical doctors only valuate that 'He contributed a theorem and diffusion of Shang-Han-Lun'(『傷寒論』) And this study aims to make out the influence of his various clinical-experiences upon the Shang-Han theory on the basis of Qian-Jin-Yao-Fang.(『千金要方』) This study has two fields, a narrow and wide senses of the Shang-Han. Firstly, quotations from the Shang-Han-Lun were found from existing researches as a references in order to make out contents of a narrow sense of Shang-Han. And making a comparison between Shang-Han-Lun's prescription amd Qian-Jin-Yao-Fang's, found sentences having similar names of prescription, compositional contents, and symptoms. Secondly, on contents of a wide sense of Shang-Han, it was analyzed the configurations and applied methods of prescription centering on the Shang-Han(傷寒), Zhu-Feng(諸風), Wen-bing(溫病), Ke-Sou(咳嗽), Bi-Se(秘澁), etc.. As a result, Sun-Si-Miao cited 65 sentences and also to the internal-medicine disease from the Shang-Han-Lun. In a part of a wide sense of Shang-Han, the introduction of various medicine for internal and external application helped to conquer limits of the internal medicine. In conclusion, Sun-Si-Miao is a great medical doctor who presented the Shang-Ha theory as a clinical guide book.
