AB - This study developed and validated an educational program for general high school students, focusing on the content elements related to performing software startup projects as presented in the newly established 'Software and Life' subject within the 2022 revised curriculum. The educational program was designed based on the ADDIE model and its validity was verified through expert review. Consequently, a 12-session software startup education program utilizing App Inventor was developed and applied to 2nd-year students in general high schools. Paired-samples t-tests on pre- and post-tests for cooperative learning attitude and creative problem-solving ability revealed a statistically significant difference in the post-test results. This study is significant as it suggests the potential for expanding teaching and learning strategies for the 'Software and Life' subject, newly introduced in the 2022 revised curriculum.
