ABSTRACT

Based on the Technology Acceptance Model 3 (TAM3), the purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the effects of seniors’ digital literacy, subjective norms, and perception of social support on their intention to use public service kiosks through the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. As a research method, a survey was conducted on 143 elderly welfare center users and elderly job participants aged 65 or older living in Mokpo-si, Jeollanam-do, and reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were performed using SPSS. As a result of the analysis, digital literacy had a significant effect on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, subjective norms had a significant effect on perceived usefulness, and social support perception had a positive effect on perceived ease of use. In addition, both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use influenced the intention to use, and in particular, perceived usefulness was identified as the strongest variable. In conclusion, it suggests that strengthening seniors' digital capabilities, creating a social support environment, and introducing customized public kiosks for each job group are effective in expanding digital inclusion and revitalizing use.
