ABSTRACT

The global economic crisis and the rise of the welfare needs of residents appeared as nonprofit organizations and the government tried to revitalize local economy and welfare demand by fostering social enterprises with sociality and business ability. However, even the social enterprises with the same purpose and contents are producing different results and results, and the level of institutionalization is also different. In the case of medical co-op, which is a representative example of this, there are companies that are strong in the size of members and financial soundness, while others do not. In this paper, we analyze the health co-existence of Ansan, Anseong, and Incheon which are evaluated as a successful social enterprise model and aim to identify the success factors. In this study, we focus on the temporal and regional context, human resource composition, business contents, residents participation, and local network among various factors that differentiate medical cohesion performance and systematically analyze the way and how they interact . As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that the success of the medical co - operation was expanded when the purpose of the institution was the community welfare desired by the residents rather than the nature of the civil society movement. This is because the services provided by the medical co-op provide medical services and social welfare services for the healthy life of the local residents, so providing social welfare services rather than civil movements is in line with the demands of the union members and the services provided by medical co-ops. It is effective in achieving membership.
