AB - The purpose of this study is to research the developmental history of through the first to the fourth enact or reform of the musical curriculum for Mental Retardation Special Education Schools taking elementary courses. To discover a way for the future music class, this study is due to find out the developmental history of musical curriculum of Mental Retardation Special Education School and its contents for them, and any problem which might have been in teaching curricular music to the handicapped. Through the study, this researcher hopes to lay a basic foundation for the efficiency of teaching children studying in special schools.
