ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to examine the experiences of the siblings of children with disabilities through a qualitative inquiry. 13 siblings of children with disabilities participated interviews to share their experiences. From the qualitative analyses, four themes emerged: (1) emotional problems, (2) daily life's problems, (3) the appreciation and hopes. Discussions and the implications for the sibling support practices were provided. The limitations and the suggestions for future researches were discussed.
