ABSTRACT

Humans learning has been expanded by including a series of methods to modify the understanding of everything in relationship. Owing to the recent frequent transformation in such learning process, the transformative learning is required as a learning ability to acquire abilities to adjust to life and also to cope with changes. The researcher examined the transformative learning of a middle-aged woman as adult learner facing the transformation through the medium of occupation in the inseparable relationship with adult s life. The researcher thought that the process of occupational transformation would require the learning-centered consideration as an independent human being with correct belief and values, instead of the methodological acquisition of education like acquisition of degree or certificate. The significance of this study is to examine the transformative learning in the expansive perspective focusing on occupational lifetime event of a middle-aged woman based on the characteristics of learner.
