AB - The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of participative leadership and to analyze the mediating effect of collective intelligence in the relationship between participative leadership and creative behavior of subordinates.
The research model and the hypothesis were verified by using the SPSS PROCESS macro for 309 employees among the employees who work in domestic companies with more than 300 employees. As a result of the study, participative leadership has positive direct effects on the creative behaviors of subordinates, and indirect positive influence through collective intelligence has been confirmed. This proved the complete mediating effects of collective intelligence between participative leadership and creative behavior. The theoretical and practical implications of these results are discussed and suggestions for future research are suggested.
