AB - The objective of this study lies in researching what kind of literature is mainly used by researchers in the related field by analyzing the research pattern of researchers who major in the same field of science, and to propose a list of literature that is indispensable for college libraries to prepare. Based on such analysis results of cited literature, this study is to propose necessary standards for selecting and reading journals in the field of Library and Information Science(LIS) in the libraries of Korean colleges where a LIS department is established.
