ABSTRACT

This study uses mass media data related to middle-aged single households, as raw data, and analyzes about the social issues and perceptions. For search, data from representative portals, Naver News and Daum News, were collected using Textome, a big data analysis system. A total of 8,233 articles were collected from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2022, and the final 7,837 articles were used for analysis. As a result of the analysis, first, as a result of the TF-IDF analysis, 'loneliness', 'household', 'support', and 'project' were analyzed. Second, in the analysis results of N-gram(2-gram), 'loneliness and prevention', 'single-person households and increase' and 'single-person households and loneliness' were analyzed. Third, as a result of the CONCOR analysis, 'Characteristics of middle-aged single-person households' as the central cluster, 'Method of discovering households in crisis' as the peripheral cluster, 'Support system for middle-aged single-person households being promoted at the regional level', 'Difficulties of middle-aged single-person households and their causes'. Based on the results of the above analysis, the need to expand the local welfare blind spot discovery system and the establishment of a support center for middle-aged single-person households were proposed
