ABSTRACT

This study aims to examine the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) technology development on the modern pastoral environment and human ontology, and to explore the theological direction of the Korean church in response. To achieve this, literature published from 2022 to 2026 was collected, and a three-step analytical framework consisting of 'technical analysis, ethical issue derivation, and theological reinterpretation' was applied to investigate the effects on Christian anthropology. Consequently, strategic alternatives at the technical and pastoral levels and theological suggestions within the ontological and anthropological scopes were derived. This study provides practical evaluation indicators and ethical safeguards for the pastoral field facing a rapid technological transition. Furthermore, it holds academic significance in establishing a theoretical and practical foundation for utilizing AI technology as a stewardly tool for evangelism
