ABSTRACT

The Industrial Revolution led to technological development and social change, and had a great influence on human life and economic system. Moreover, the Fourth Industrial Revolution is accelerating further with the development of artificial intelligence and digital technology, artificial intelligence is recognized as an important factor that will lead to future industries and society, and artificial intelligence is emerging as the core of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The development of artificial intelligence provides a lot of innovation and convenience to modern society, but at the same time, it is also a reality that the problem of compensation for damages caused by it must be seriously considered. It is a question of whether to compensate artificial intelligence for damages or whether to recognize the rights ability to artificial intelligence, and if the rights ability is not granted to artificial intelligence, it is a question of who should compensate for the damage. In this paper, can artificial intelligence be given a legal personality to present a solution to these problems? If the ability to rights is not recognized, I would like to examine how to distribute the damage fairly and reasonably.
