AB - This paper is the research for the analysis of "HWADU" - a novel written by choi in-hoon. This research has been done by the need of serious study for the structure of description. Choi has expressed his opinion for the artistry for a long time, and this report is to verify the fact that ‘hwadu’ is elaborately embodied by artistry.
Choi in-hoon says the differences between literary art and the other sensuous arts comes from the character of expression tool, i.e. The janus character - ‘symbol or image’, ‘customs or means’- and he emphasize that it is required to create ‘myself’ with enjoying ‘complaints’ by sympathizing the dual characters in order to overcome and develop it to the art.
"HWADU" was the novel with a pattern of remembrance. There were three kinds of way of remembrance in it. These were the way of ‘angle -novel’, the way of using a mediator and the way of unconsciousness. By the way, these remembrance through the many kinds of way were being variated tuned by the core remembrance. It was analyzed that time with remembrance is flowing spirally instead of proceeding in order.
"HWADU" ’s constitutional character - the unconscious occurrence of remembrance and the uncertainty of narrative and what to gain through the harmony between material and spirit is to make identification of ‘myself’. It is absolutely need to use myself as a author, a professor, self-criticism, a leader and eldest son in the family.... . The ultimate myself comes from the result of writings. In other words, we can say the real ‘myself’ is only made by artists through the words, and ‘myself’ written in "HWADU"- the ultimate creation of self-identification.
