AB - The purpose of this study is to analyze of female chracters in 「Coming Home」(2014), 「Shanghai Triad」(1995), 「Lovers, House Of Flying Daggers」(2004) of Zhang Yimou. In conclusion, Zhang's three movie are following through the dance elements in the movie connotations. 1) Female characters' dancing shows social and cultural features. 2) Female dance characters are the objects of desire. 3) However, in the end, female characters all experience frustration and desire has been removed. 4) Zhang's three movie showed male power, man power is Making nationalism. 5) This is how Zhang Yimou became important leaders in Chinese social-political position.
