AB - Recently, as the cultural industry is rapidly growing, contents related to dance are getting popular in various media. As the popularity of dance is rapidly increasing, many studies on dance education have been attempted. However, in the case of dance there is a lack of academic research because many researches are focused on practical research compared to other fields. In particular, researches on modern dance, which is the subcategory of dance, are much more lacking. Therefore, this study systematically analyze past studies related to modern dance. Using frequency analysis, we reviewed journals, publishers, authors, and key words. Also we analyzed past research topics by topic modeling and wordcloud. As a result, we examined past research patterns and suggested insufficient research areas in order to suggest future research directions.
