ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to identify factors which middle school students think important and are satisfied with in regards to dance classes using the IPA Importance/Satisfaction Analysis method. The result of the IPA matrix analysis of the importance satisfaction factor for good instruction in school dance education is the most important and very satisfactory Quadrant1 (8 elements), Quadrant 2 with high importance and low satisfaction (6 elements), Quadrant 3 with low importance and low satisfaction(4 elements), Quadrant 4 with low importance and high satisfaction(1 elements). Identifying the recognition of middle school students on a good dance class at school, this study would contribute to run a more practical and effective dance classroom in school education.
