ABSTRACT

This study proposes a network platform model to sustain school dance education amid changes in arts education policy and funding structures. Moving beyond previous research on the instability of education mediators, it conducts a qualitative document and comparative case analysis of five global platforms: DEL, Artlook Map, CWC, People Dancing, and BAI. Based on the analysis, the study develops “K-Dance Net”, structured around three core modules: human resource management(HRM), demand-supply matching, and content/learning management system(CMS/LMS). The model integrates regional resource mapping, competency-based digital badges, dance literacy content, and artist-teacher collaboration while incorporating quality, safety, and ethical standards. It also proposes regional governance, data-based administration, and social safety nets for arts educators. By shifting from centralized provision to networked governance, the study seeks to contribute to a sustainable school dance education ecosystem.
